New command of history: Alliance of Russia and Azerbaijan (Our editorial)

BY EYNULLA FATULLAYEV

Another geopolitical catastrophe that struck Russia in the South Caucasus fundamentally changed the military-political situation on the southern borders of the great power. The West continues to implement the concept of the colour belt around Russia. Many attempts to change the status quo in Russia itself were unsuccessful. On the contrary, the strengthening of the centripetal forces and the built up of a rigid vertical, coupled with the stabilisation of the political system, determined not only the strengthening of the Kremlin's dominant role in the entire post-Soviet space, but also the expansion of economic, humanitarian and even political influence in countries of the former Soviet Union. And now the West has thrown all the forces to change the current status quo in the zone of Russian influence.

The price of a dangerous confrontation with Russia and the implantation of a system of managed chaos for the new revolutionary governments has proved prohibitively high: a vague and promising prospect of integration with the Euro-Atlantic community no sooner than in decades.

Orange fire caused a massive psychosis in the former USSR

Why was the Moscow-Baku-Ankara axis born?

One of the main arenas of the clash of two socio-cultural civilisations was the South Caucasus. And Moscow's attempt to significantly expand the territorial area of confrontation to the Middle East through active involvement in the Syrian and Libyan cauldron failed to stop Western political expansion in the post-Soviet space.

First, Russian political institutions were kicked out of Georgia, and then the West snatched out the Kremlin's main outpost: Armenia. Efforts to displace independent and uncontrollable authorities in Azerbaijan and Turkey came up against the powerful resistance of national elites. Repeated attempts of "popular revolts", putsches, colour revolutions, such as the Facebook revolution developed by the Western special services in Baku and the events of Gezi in Ankara, provoked a backlash. Western institutions in both countries were viewed as a potential threat and a real mechanism for swaying the situation. The West's confrontational system of relations with the governments of Azerbaijan and then Turkey, which is expressed in total discrediting in international public opinion, has led to irreversible consequences for it. Suddenly, the West-Turkey strategic axis collapsed, which since the fall of Ottomanism and the formation of Kemalism was built over the course of a century, and Western political institutions, which received unprecedented carte blanche for activity in Azerbaijan, were deported from Baku.

So the axis was born

For the first time in all political history, a qualitatively new geopolitical configuration emerged that allowed Russian ideologists to come up with a new concept of the Moscow-Baku-Ankara geopolitical axis. A new historical process predetermined the emergence of the Russian-Azerbaijani military-political union. The rapprochement between Russia and Azerbaijan, apart from all the other factors, was conditioned by a unified approach to the rules of the world order, international security and the system of international relations. Russia and Azerbaijan, accepting the universality of human rights and popular will, rejected the world's new standards of a unipolar world imposed on the planet. These standards - globalisation, the theory of a permanent political explosion, the right to interfere in the internal affairs of states, the manual management of "great chaos" - crossed out the required sovereign right of states. Therefore, the alliance between Russia and Azerbaijan became natural, ideological, philosophical, and historic.

A question may arise: what has kept Azerbaijan and Russia from sincere allied relations all these years? Both for Azerbaijan and for Russia, the Karabakh conflict and the factor of Armenia remained a stumbling block in the development of allied relations. Yerevan, first in the face of the pro-Western government of Ter-Petrossyan, and then the Karabakh clan of Kocharyan and Sargsyan, in every possible way torpedoed all real models for the establishment of a just world. Russia, on the strength of historical circumstances, was associated with Armenia with allied commitments.

Soros's Armenia attacks Putin's Russia

However, it was Armenia itself, transforming into a new springboard for confrontation with Russia, that saved the Kremlin from an unsolvable dilemma. The outbreak of anti-Russian sentiment in Yerevan and the new foreign policy course of the Pashinyan government aimed at restraining Russian military and political influence in the region, literally untied Moscow's hands. The allied relations of Armenia with Russia are just a formal facsimile - a bad dream, or a bad memory, a completely meaningless piece of paper, thrown into the history's archive.

There is no Russia in Yerevan anymore

What strategic military-allied relations can there be, if Pashinyan's party initiated the withdrawal of Armenia from the Eurasian Union and even insisted on denouncing the military alliance? After all, it was Pashinyan who managed the anti-Russian sentiments exactly after the April war in 2016, demanding the deportation of Russian bases.

"In the course of 20-25 years Russia has been taking grain by grain our sovereignty! ...Armenian-Russian relations are not partnership relations - these are the relations between the speaker and the hearer". "Russia's relations with Armenia are relations of two gamblers". "Armenia joined the Eurasian Union not voluntarily, but by force". These are new quotations from the recent speeches of the opposition MP Pashinyan. The shorthand record of the Armenian parliament abounds in the ardent aggressive statements of the Armenian prime minister against Russia and its political leadership.

But, it seems, Pashinyan moves from words to deeds. The Armenian prime minister is a nightmare for the CSTO, the citadel of countries - military allies of Russia. How can you assess the attempt to arrest CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov? How would the world perceive such sedition if, say, Norway tried to arrest the NATO Secretary General, its citizen Jens Stoltenberg? Undoubtedly, NATO would demand explanations, but could Norway categorically declare that this is an internal affair of the country? The attempt to arrest Khachaturov is an unprecedented case in world practice, political nonsense, an open challenge and a slap in the face of Russia. Paradoxically, why did not anyone in Moscow think about excluding Armenia from the CSTO? In the Russian media, outraged publicists and journalists are openly perplexed and ask themselves questions - "why in the Kremlin they do not notice the frank discrediting by Armenia of the CSTO? Why do not they react to blackmail?" Russian patriots are sure that "Moscow hurried with curtsey to Armenia and paid for its mistake".

The modern Armenian government is the embodiment of the geostrategic tasks of the main Western liberal missionary George Soros. The government consists entirely of his proteges. Pay attention only to the annotation of the background of the leading Armenian ministers.

Around Pashinyan are only Soros' men

What to expect from Pashinyan in relations with Russia, if his foreign policy adviser Arsen Kharatyan was engaged in active propaganda activities with the financial support of the Georgian representation of the Soros Foundation and the American NED? And the head of the State Control Service of Armenia, coordinator of anti-Russian rallies David Sanasaryan and deputy minister of Diaspora Babken Ter-Grigoryan coordinated the largest programs of the Soros Foundation in Yerevan. What kind of military-political alliance of modern Armenia with Russia can there be, if the Minister of Education and Science Araik Harutyunyan, a Westerner to the bone, worked in the organisations "Helsinki Association" and Transparency International, which are also financed by the Soros Foundation? And the secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, who coordinates the work of the Armenian power structures? He also worked for a long time in the American organisations Counterpart International and Transparency International! First Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan coordinated the famous American organisation IFES, the Minister of Agriculture Arthur Khachatryan ran programs in the US government organisation USAID, the secretary of the special commission on electoral reforms Daniel Ionisyan is the leader of the organisation "Union of Informed Citizens", created with the sole purpose of propaganda against pro-Russian integration projects. Are all these ministers and influential people going to stand for the continuation of allied relations with Russia, which they has been tantalising their entire conscious life?

The Soros government of Armenia has already dealt the first tangible blow to the economic interests of Russia. The Pashinyan government began intensified negotiations on the supply of Iranian gas to Armenia. Obviously, Armenia is trying to get Iranian gas to abandon Russia and thereby weaken the Kremlin's influence on Yerevan. After all, Pashinyan, learning from the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation, realises that if the political confrontation with the Kremlin deepens - and it is inevitable - Russia will use the main means of pressure and resort to a "gas war". Yerevan, in anticipation of potential risks, a priori trying to knock out the main means of pressure from the hands of Russia... On the other hand, speaking in the image of liberals, Pashinyan's government immediately resorted to disproportionate and for the most part illegitimate, repressive measures against its political opponents. In Yerevan, a real hunt for pro-Russian politicians and adherents of pro-Russian foreign policy is declared. They are persecuted, dekulakized, imprisoned...

Pashinyan prepares for gas war with the Kremlin

Most likely, Armenia will begin to curtail humanitarian partnership with Russia as well. Pay attention to who became the head of the ministry of culture of the country - Lilit Makunts, a former employee of the American Peace Corps. It was Makunts who initiated the campaign and was one of the zealous propagandists of the limitation of the Russian language in Armenia! And the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan is a former American NGO employee. And the Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan was native to USAID's offices. And the Minister of Nature Protection Eric Grigoryan received from Amnesty International quite a solid grant of 274 thousand dollars for the project on the development of political parties called Civil Contract...

All these public figures led by Pashinyan are united by a single anti-Russian platform and a fierce dislike of the Russian political leadership. And, of course, there is an ideological community with Soros' understanding and vision of the modern world order, that is, the dominant role of the United States in the world system. The entire Armenian government is wholly and organically intertwined with the system of the so-called American Armenianships - the Diaspora, which plays a leading role in determining the agenda of the Armenian state. There is no doubt that the main mission of the Pashinyan government is the qualitative transformation of Armenia into the military and political bridgehead of the US, Soros and the American Armenianship in the Caucasus.

Now Armenians are ruining Russia

Considering the factor of consolidation of the influential players of the American establishment with the American Armenianship, it is possible to imagine the scale of the danger that threatens vital Russian interests in the region and the established regional security system, in which the strategic interests of not only Russia but also Turkey, Iran and the Caspian states are represented. For example, one of the main allies of world Armenianship in the United States are such influential political figures as Senator Robert Menendez and Congressman Adam Schiff, who guard the interests of the American Armenians. After all, during the Senate hearings Menendez and some other senators failed  the nomination of Matthew Bryza for the post of US Ambassador to Azerbaijan. Bryza's entire fault was only in his impartial position during his tenure as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group. And Adam Schiff from year to year methodically and purposefully lobbies and pushes the idea of recognition by the US Parliament of the so-called "genocide". But these parliamentarians are united not by one selfless love for the idea of "Great Armenia", but also by a fierce hatred for the revived Russia. After all, Menendez and Schiff are the ideological inspirers of the strengthening of anti-Russian sanctions.

New plan against Russia overseas

It seems that a new doctrine of Russia's weakening has been developed overseas. For the second time in half a century the West uses the Armenian factor to strengthen the centrifugal forces in the camp of its global enemy. If for the first time the American special services actively manipulated the Karabakh conflict - the first hot spot in the former USSR - to shake the foundations of Soviet statehood, now the Armenian factor is aimed at rocking the situation in Putin's Russia.

We repeatedly wondered why Washington placed one of its largest embassies in a small Armenia with a population of just three million people? After all, the staff of the American Embassy in Yerevan exceeds two thousand employees! In one of the previous articles referring to highly informed and competent sources, we already wrote about the close contact and interaction of the staff of the US Embassy in Armenia from among Armenians with influential representatives of the Armenian diaspora in Russia. Or maybe there is a banal recruitment? After all, if the Russian special services missed the Soros revolution at their side, in their main outpost, they could also miss the subversive work of the American special services through the world Armenianship.

History teaches one thing - it does not teach anything. It would seem that it is not so difficult to analyze the history of the notorious Armenian issue since the Berlin Congress, the methodology of involving Armenian separatism into confrontation with the world's leading players. Armenianship was selected as a preventive "weapon of retaliation", as evidenced by white spots in the history of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. History does not teach anything, and that is why its evolutionary development resembles a movement in a spiral. The upcoming and new events are the repetitions of the previous ones.

It all began with the Berlin Congress

Isn't it too risky for the Russian political forces, like for the Ottoman sultanate in its time, admitting representatives of the world Armenianship to the national elite: the management apparatus, politics, business and the media? Simonyan, Gabrielyan, Migranyan, Kurginyan, Babayan, Dzhanibekyan... Everywhere there are only Armenians for whom the interests of the world Armenianship are above the national-state interests of their country.

A more recent example. Political scientist Bagdasarov in the television debate on the Russian television channel openly calls to destroy the Russian deputy from the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Dmitry Ivanovich Savelyev. The question is - for what? For his trip to the village of the lowland Karabakh, liberated during the April war, where he called Azerbaijan to be Russia's only ally in the Caucasus. Was Bagdasarov guided by the interests of Russia? Far from it, because the interests of Russia require the strengthening of political influence in Azerbaijan. Savelyev serves these interests. But Bagdasarov, who defends not the interests of his country, but the aspirations of the world Armenianship and expansionist Armenia, calls for the destruction of a deputy who serves and defends the interests of Russia. Where is the reaction of the Russian government and intelligence agencies? Why there is no adequate reaction?

Bagdasarov blames Savelyev for serving Russia

Is there any reaction to the public statements of the American agent Andranik Migranyan on Russian television? Needless to say, if the television air of the "ТВЦ" (TVC) channel, selected by journalist Babayan for replicating Karabakh separatism, is turned against the foundations of Russia itself. The Armenian influence on TVC has reached such proportions that the Slavic letter "Ц" in the logo of the TV channel was modified in the form of the Armenian letter "Ц" (meaning "A").

In Russia, the world Armenianship acts identically, as in Washington. Armenians occupied all the strategic spheres of public, political and economic life, and they also attract influential representatives of the Russian political elite to the frankly engaged campaign. The most notorious in this series is the notorious Konstantin Zatulin, who concentrated all his political activities on the struggle against Azerbaijan. The question is, how much longer will Zatulin be deputy chairman of the State Duma committee for CIS countries? And is it possible that in his presentation the CIS is embodied only in the image of one and now pro-Soros Armenia? After all, Zatulin defends the interests of this country, not Russia!

All the conscious work of Zatulin and the Russian Armenianship with him is permeated with one idea, one goal, one movement - to inflict maximum damage on the Azerbaijani-Russian relations, to destroy the friendship between fraternal Azerbaijani and Russian peoples, tested for years.

Putin and Aliyev on the eve of historical justice

Armenia is a step away from the ice war with Russia, while Azerbaijan is strengthening the military-political alliance with Moscow. And this alliance is based on a solid foundation - personal friendly and trusting relations between Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev. In many ways, the format of a successful dialogue between the two presidents contributes to the resolution of many situations and the development of new models, not only in the system of relations between the two countries, but also in the formation of the architecture of regional politics. The spectacular success of the last historic summit of the Caspian countries is largely due to the common verified concept of the two presidents. Putin and Aliyev understand each other from a half-word and implement projects that open the way to the development of the entire region.

A firm foundation for the alliance of the two fraternal countries

It was Putin and Aliyev who resolved the eternal Caspian dispute, rightly and with due regard for the interests of their countries, providing the Caspian with a new legal status. The two presidents stood at the source of the global transport and communication artery within the framework of the North-South project as well. The corridor will connect northern Europe with India and Southeast Asia.

By the way, Azerbaijan has completed all work on its section of this international corridor, which the Russian president speaks about in his speeches, and is currently rendering assistance to Iran already in the works on the Iranian section of the route. Azerbaijan has allocated a loan of half a billion dollars to Iran and is seeking an early completion of all works.

Putin and Aliyev reached an historic agreement on the development of the railway communication project along the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars route. As you know, this project is a personal initiative of the President of Azerbaijan. The presidents agreed on the use by Russian business of this route for the transportation of Russian products! One can not but admit that this is a truly historic success of the two presidents.

In parallel, there is a multi-vector global expansion of the Russian-Azerbaijani partnership in virtually all strategic spheres - political, economic, humanitarian... Azerbaijan becomes a window for Russia in Greater Asia. Just like Russia centuries later for Azerbaijan is a window into the boundless Eurasian space, into sociocultural integration, scientific progress, perfect military technologies and political modernism. The close ties of partnership and alliance allowed the Russian statesmen and national patriots to declare Azerbaijan to be Russia's only ally in the Caucasus.

The apotheosis of this strategic alliance was the historic visit of prominent Russian public and political figures to the village of Jojug Marjanli, Jabrail district, liberated during the April war.

Russia again proclaimed Karabakh to be Azerbaijani

The pro-Kremlin ideologist, Alexander Dugin, State Duma deputy Savelyev, well-known experts and even a representative of the United Russia Party ruling in Russia, having risen to the trenches and dug-outs of the Azerbaijani Army on the summit of Leletepe, sincerely proclaimed that Karabakh is Azerbaijani land.

And the time is not far off when Russia, which stands for the integrity of sovereign Azerbaijan, will make every effort to restore historic justice...
