Azerenerji started repairing small HPPs in Sugovushan (Video)

Azerenerji OJSC has started overhaul and restoration work at the small hydroelectric power plants Sugovushan-1 and Sugovushan-2 with a total capacity of 7.8 megawatts, which are located in the territories liberated from occupation, reports Azeri Daily with reference to the press-service of the joint stock company.

It should be noted that in Sugovshan, the Armenian invaders dismantled the workable spare parts of small power plants with a capacity of 4.8 and 3 megawatts, and what they could not take away they destroyed. At the same time, the stations were badly damaged during the fighting. Therefore, the machine rooms, units, generators, as well as the control centre building, switchboards, equipment, voltage and current transformers of the substation at the small HPPs Sugovushan-1 and Sugovushan-2 are being repaired or replaced with new ones.

The work is scheduled to be completed in the coming months. Upon completion of the work, electricity will be transferred, first of all, to nearby areas, including the Sugovushan settlement, Talish village, and then to other directions through the newly laid power transmission lines of the distribution network.
