Alexander Lukashenko: 'Radioactive substances were taken out of Armenia to Europe' (Loud accusation)



Radioactive substances were detected on board an aircraft that was travelling from Armenia through Belarus to one of the European countries. This was announced today, March 20, by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting on the organisation of the Belarusian-Russian exercises 'West-2017,' BelTA informs.

'One incident relates to the detection of radioactive substances on board an aircraft that transited through Belarus from Armenia to one of the European countries,' the report sayd citing the head of state.

'I will ask you to report to me after the investigation of all these incidents, which took place on the state border today. This all testifies to the fact that we should not relax. We must keep our eyes open and in no case give rise to destabilising the situation in our country,' said the president.
