Leader of Talysh separatists arrested in Moscow


Fakhraddin Abbaszadeh, one of the leaders of the Talysh separatists, who had been declared internationally wanted by Azerbaijan, was arrested in Russia, Regnum agency reports.

According to the information, Fakhraddin Abbaszadeh was arrested by the police forces of the Lyubertsy district of the Moscow region.

The judge of the Lyubertsy Town Court of the Moscow Region I.Zhuravlev to ensure the extradition of Abbaszadeh to Azerbaijan elected in his respect a preventive measure in the form of detention for a month.

It should be noted that one of the leaders of Talysh separatists Fahhraddin Abbaszadeh fled to Russia in 1994. Since then, he has repeatedly made statements against the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Abbaszadeh also repeatedly visited Armenia, where he made anti-Azerbaijani statements.
