British parliament votes against no-deal Brexit

British MPs have supported Prime Minister Theresa May's proposal to rule out Brexit without an agreement with the EU on withdrawal conditions. In a Wednesday vote in the House of Commons, 321 lawmakers supported the initiative, while 287 MPs spoke against it, TASS reports.

British MPs also approved the amendment to May's initiative that rejects Brexit without a deal under any circumstances. The amendment proposed by Conservative Party MP Caroline Spelman was supported by 312 lawmakers and rejected by 308 MPs.

On March 14 British MPs are expected to vote on postponing Brexit from March 29 to a later date.
