Gleb Pavlovsky: 'War will start in Karabakh soon'

Former adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Gleb Pavlovsky does not rule out the start of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh. In an interview with 'Ekho Moskvy' radio station, he commented on the situation around the revolution in Armenia.

'There have been so many wars in one small place in the last 20-30 years. Nowhere else in the post-Soviet space. Only in Yugoslavia was something comparable. Therefore it is impossible. You just do not have to breathe on your allies, I would say. And the revolution ... there were already quite a few of them in Armenia. They already were. Armenia is going through a revolution ... in the late 1980s, early 1990s - my God! - there were more people on the streets than there was in the days of this revolution. All the people lived on the streets, came to Yerevan, stood there hundreds of thousands on the streets. Then the revolution - the war, the war - the revolution. Now the revolution has happened - apparently then comes the war,' he said.

Touching upon Pashinyan’s personality, he said that 'there is not a lot of velvet in the Caucasus.'

'Now, I think that people will want results. Where will he get the results? What special results can he get? Even Saakashvili was not able. Well, that means war,' he said.
