OSCE head on changing Karabakh talks format

Any change in the format of negotiations on the Karabakh settlement should be acceptable to all parties, said OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák.

'There is a process that is conducted in accordance with the traditions and can lead to concrete results. Of course, the Armenian government should decide the formats. But any possible changes in the format of the negotiations should be acceptable to all parties,' said Miroslav Lajčák  in Yerevan on Tuesday at a joint briefing with Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatskanyan.

'We have devoted enough time to discuss these issues. I am confident that the Armenian government has the right formula to continue negotiations in the appropriate format or the existing format,' added the OSCE chairman-in-office.
