Armenia deprived Karabakh separatists of money (New confrontation)

The government of Nikol Pashinyan rejected a request for financial assistance from the leadership of the separatist Nagorno-Karabakh, the 'Politik' edition reports.

According to the information, the resignation of the secretary of the Security Council of the so-called 'Nagorno-Karabakh republic' ('NKR') Vitaly Balasanyan was named as a prerequisite for financial assistance.

Earlier, media reported that the leader of the Karabakh separatists, Bako Sahakyan, met with Balasanyan and offered him to resign, explaining the need for such a step by the fact that such was the demand of the Armenian authorities.

The publication also learned that requests for financial assistance have been rejected by the Armenian government for two months already. Sources of the publication regard the current situation as the first case of applying sanctions by Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh.
