Members of the Albanian-Udi Christian community of Azerbaijan, which is the successor of the Albanian Autocephalous Apostolic Church of Caucasian Albania, visited the Kalbajar district and visited the Khudaveng monastery complex, local media write.

The heirs of the Albanian Church performed rituals, recited prayers, prayed to God and lit candles.

The abbot of the monastery Farik Danakari told reporters that he was very happy.

'Khudaveng monastery has been returned to its owners. It is a wonderful day, and it is difficult for me to express my feelings in words,' he added.

It should be noted that members of the Albano-Udi Christian community of Azerbaijan have previously visited the Khudaveng monastery too.
