Since 29 March, raids have begun, drivers of vehicles that use their cars unnecessarily are being stopped, administrative sanctions are being imposed on them, said Colonel Vagif Asadov, Chief of the Directorate of the State Road Police Department of the Baku Main Police Department, Trend agency reports.

Asadov noted that earlier residents of the capital were urged not to use private cars unless absolutely necessary: '...There are still drivers who violate the requirements of the special quarantine regime. Therefore, we again appeal to residents of the capital, drivers, car owners. Drivers and car owners must realise that in the city now only cars of departments and services whose list has been set earlier should be driven.'

The department head again called on the population to join the #evdəqal campaign, to stay at home without going out into the streets without emergency.
