Iranian Foreign Minister Abdollahian is going to Baku

In Iran, against the background of tensions between Tehran and Baku, they announced the imminent visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian to Azerbaijan.

According to the Mehrnews agency, the visit of the head of the Foreign Ministry should take place in the near future, however, there is no information on the program, with which Abdollahian is going.

According to him, keeping the focus of attention on its neighbours, including the northern ones, is one of the foreign policy priorities of the new Iranian government.

'Armenia and Azerbaijan are good neighbours of Iran, so we cannot work against any of them. Iran's foreign policy is balanced,' said Abdollahian said, adding that he was going to visit Azerbaijan at a convenient time.
