Kamran Aliyev showed Istanbul's Prosecutor General restoration work in Fuzuli and Shusha


At the invitation of the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev, a delegation headed by the Prosecutor General of Istanbul Shaban Yilmaz arrived in Baku on an official visit, informs the press-service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.

On Wednesday, November 24, the delegation visited the liberated Fuzuli district. The guests got acquainted with the Victory Road and the Fuzuli International Airport.

The Turkish delegation was told about Armenian vandalism, destruction of settlements, cemeteries, historical and cultural monuments.

Then the delegation visited Shusha, where they got acquainted with the construction and restoration work in the city.

It was noted that due to the exceptional spiritual value of the city, restoration work in Shusha is treated with special care and sensitivity, the necessary infrastructure projects were implemented in a short time, and historical, cultural and religious monuments were restored.

The guests also visited the place of signing of the Shusha Declaration, which is of great historical importance for Azerbaijan and Turkey.

Shaban Yilmaz, in turn, stressed that he was impressed by the scale of the work carried out in a short time, noting the importance of Turkey's direct participation in this activity as a continuation of the spiritual and political support of Azerbaijan in the second Karabakh war.
